This is a good solid and HEAVY stainless steel constructed chair.**May 2017 UPDATE at the bottom**It doesn't come with instructions, but you really don't need any, considering that it comes in four pieces (the actual cushioned chair,) the stainless steel metal base, and the two arm rests. It also comes with 8 screws and Allen key necessary to put the chair together. It took me less than 15 minutes to put the chair together. It was super easy. The chair is such that it does not require the arm rests in order for the chair to be usable. Unlike other chairs, where the arm rests serve to hold together the back rest and the seat cushion, this chair has both those things welded together, which is an added bonus for anyone looking at getting a great looking office chair without arm rests. Thus far, I am enjoying the chair. For those who care, the chair is made in China for a California based company. It comes in a pretty big box because as I alluded to, it's pretty much put together, with you just needing to screw the metal base together with the actual seat/back. This is a one-person type of assembly, just flip everything upside down, so you can align the chair base to the 4 cut out holes on the bottom of the cushion and get to screwing. It comes with 8 total screws, it tells you which screws are for the actual chair, and which screws are for the arms. Four screws for the chair, 2 screws a piece for each arm.Likely I will be buying an additional cushion for the seat, as I prefer having extra padding on my chairs due to being on them for long periods of time. The chair is graded to 250 pounds, and suggests that you never stand on the chair. I like this chair, and will be updating this review as it gets wear/tear on it.**UPDATE: MAY 2017**The chair lasted about 6 months, before it started bending backwards on its own. If you use this as a casual chair, chances are it will last you a long time. If the intended use for this chair is daily office type use, it will not be able to stand to the normal wear/tear of general office/home office use. After 6 months of using it 5-6 days a week, it finally started to bend and no longer useful as a reliable office chair.
