High temperature silicone encapsulation and potting compound is a platinum based temperature tolerant rtv silicone product. This silicone is used for potting and encapsulating applications, specifically in prototyping cases. Mix 1 part a side to 1 part b side by volume, stir to combine until color is uniform and no streaks remain. Pour into mold or product to be encapsulated from 12 to 18 inches above in a thin stream of silicone. Pot life is about 45 minutes, so take your time. Use petroleum jelly to separate silicone when using with glass and other silicones for the best results.
