I have to say I'm very disappointed by these Ivyacen make-up remover pads. They are way too thin - think of a used Bounce dryer sheet and even that is thicker than one of these pads! You can literally see through one of these remover pads.So I've done some math:- I currently use cotton pads from the Dollar Store. They are round and the diameter is 5 cm. They are 100% cotton, thick with at least 3 plys and are quilted for softness and are mostly lint free. These Dollar Store make-up remover pads are $1.25 CAD for 100 pieces.- These Ivyacen cotton pads are rectangle shaped and are slightly larger (5cm x 6 cm) than the Dollar Store ones I use but not by much. But they are so thin that it takes around 3 sheets to feel similar in thickness to the Dollar Store cotton pads. The cost at time of order was $20.52 CAD (minus 5% coupon) for 1080 sheets.So if I want to compare apples to apples in terms of thickness, 1080 ivyacen sheets will give me 360 3-ply pads (except they're not quilted to stay together). 360 of the Dollar Store pads would cost me $4.50 (I'll even round up to $5 (for 400 pads) since I can't break and buy a partial pack). If I assume I only need 2 sheets of the Ivyacen sheets, I will get 540 2-ply pads. The equivalent would have cost me $6.75 (round up to $7.50 (for 600 pads)).No matter how I calculate, these ivyacen sheets are 3 to 4x more expensive than what I can buy at the Dollar Store.
