lookes good and is made well but the spring is not strong enough to hold coverFlimsy product. With just one person, to open the cover it has to be done from the middle when inside the spa. If you try to open the cover from the outside with just one person by pulling the lift bar back it just binds up and twists. It would be fine with 2 people (one on each side). This is clearly a Poorly designed product.This would be a great product but it needs some type of stop so that the top doesn't fall all the way to the ground. I will have to purchase something different as this just didn't reach my expectations.I like the idea of the easy lift. Was not easy to install. Had to find away to lift heavy tub to get the feet underneath tub to make work. Still slides out from bottom of tub. Need to figure out another way to plant the feet to make work anytime.This product went together ok but when you use it and open cover it the cover goes about 4' behind hot tub and goes to the ground it has no stopping point to keep the cover off the ground..2nd the customer service was horrible. I understand that I had 30days to install and test cover lifter but when I ordered I didn't expect to be in hospital for over 30 days and unable to open, put together and test product so I am stuck with crap product unable to return and out all the money and now purchasing the kind of lifter that I had before....This is terrible. No directions. Not as pictured. Had to use picture on amazon to figure out how to place it. It sits a foot past the end of the hot tub on the ground not as shown on Amazon.
